For this week project, I was inspired by the idea of Yosemite Valley and the first people to photograph there. As well as the framing devices, with a small quote below. I might have take this song a little literal this week- an image of a valley and the 'will you be mine' quote, like stated in the song. In the valley i drew, I picture "Down in the Valley" being echoed through.
The reading was discussing the way a song can just take you in a direction and you just have to go with where it takes you. Which is something I very much believe. I love the way that each race, ethnicity or location takes a song in a new direction. The way the the 'negro' sing a song is so planned which I love, and you can really feel all the emotion. But I love when we are all singing in class how we can take the song in what ever way we want. All that is needed is to pass the story through the song.
